Moscow metro vs DC metro

If you’ve been to Moscow or Washington DC, this could be the easiest test you’ve ever taken… let’s see! Here are 12 photos. Were they taken in Moscow or Washington DC?

There are only two photos here from Washington DC… picture 2 and picture 10.

I think DC’s metro looks cool (it’s very similar to the Sportivna metro station in Kharkiv, Ukraine) but where’s the art? Does the DC metro have art and I just missed it? Moscow’s stations are dripping with chandeliers, mosaics, and marble.

Even the trains themselves are used as art (well, advertisements).

One thing these metros do have in common is free wifi. 🙂 Moscow began offering this on all lines in 2014; DC caught up in a few years later.
