Yekaterinburg Startup Day

with 2 Comments

Last weekend D took a day trip to Yekaterinburg (2 hours in a bus) to attend EKB Startup Day 2019. Curious? Me too! I asked him to share a few pictures and comments about his day there…

The event

The very first talk, event hostess introducing sponsors and goals.
One of the pitches during the startup pitch marathon. This is an AI bot that teaches you English. You can interact with it through popular messenger platforms. Would you use something like that if it taught you Russian? Let me know in the comments.
Every Russian knows that in order to make any presentation better one should use Homer Simpson.
Megaphone, a Russian cellphone provider, was the sponsor of the event. They organized a nice coffee break area.

I doubt there is a Russian city that doesn’t have a bridge with locks somewhere.

I hope you enjoyed this peek at Yekaterinburg and EKB Startup Day 2019! 🙂

Fun! I love that the coffee break area had bean bag chairs!
